To check whether your new blog had got indexed by Google or not you just have to search for your new blog URL in Google Search Engine. If it shows appropriate result then you have successfully got your blog indexed by Google.

Let me make this clear to you that when a site has recently launched, it won’t be able to rank on Google. You have to give time and put lots of efforts improving your site ranking and search engine visibility.

1. Site Owner Verification

Google Search Console is a free platform for bloggers and webmasters that allow you to check your website’s indexing and visibility status. You have to sign up at Google Search Console with your Google account. Now you have to add a new web property and then fill the details like your blog name and blog address. After successfully signing up with Google Search Console you will be provided with a particular verification code which you have to add to your blog in order to verify your blog ownership. 

After completing the verification step, Google will come to know about your website/blog. 

2. Submit Your Sitemap 

Sitemap is simply a page which contains all your site links. Whenever Google Search engine bots crawl your website they will directly visit your sitemap and check whether there’s any new update or not. This help them indexing new web pages much easily. 

You just need to type your blog name/sitemap.xml to view your sitemap. 

For submitting your sitemap to Google Search Console simply follow these steps. 

a. Login to your Google Search Console. 
b. Under crawl section, click on sitemaps. 
c. There you simply have to enter your sitemap URL and click on submit button.
